An Itunes card is like a calling card.

You pay for the card at say, Walmart.

You then have a certain amount a stuff you can download.

I believe the gift card is the same as an itunes card. They come in monetary amounts of $ 15, $ 25, $ 50. You can buy them just about everywhere. Many of the major chains of grocery stores sell them near the checkout lines. Once you buy the card you put the code on the back of the card into itunes and then you select your songs.

    they are the same thing.

I don’t know if your question was answered, but, just in case.

to make a new Itunes account, you do not need ANY sort of card. Just make a new apple ID, and it will function as your Itunes account.
